What is a stick diffuser and how does it work?
The stick diffuser works on the principle of cold capillary action to diffuse fragrance. Natural rattan sticks are dipped into a glass bottle filled with the fragrance of your choice, which gradually soaks the sticks and diffuses on contact with the air. A gentle, even diffusion permeates the air in your room.

Elegant and fashionable from a visual point of view, with its bottle sealed by a hand-stamped wax seal, the stick diffuser is also an ecological choice for its simple, 100% natural use, without any energy source, and economical with its infinitely reusable glass bottle. Refills
Once the bottle is empty of fragrance, you can prolong the pleasure of your diffuser with the same fragrance, or experiment with new olfactory experiences. Refills specially developed for Folies de Provence stick diffusers are available in a multitude of scents. Simply pour the new liquid into the bottle.
If you're tempted to change scents, it's recommended to clean the bottle beforehand, to avoid mixing up the new fragrance with the previous one, and to buy new rattan sticks.
Easy to use
To optimize diffusion, here are a few tips to follow:
1/ After removing the cap, place your stick diffuser on a flat surface, away from draughts or hot springs.
2/ Immerse the rattan stems and allow them to soak.

3/ After 24 hours, the sticks begin to release fragrance into the atmosphere.
4/ Remember to turn the sticks over regularly, or change them if they become saturated.
5/ The intensity of the fragrance depends on the number of sticks used: the more sticks, the more intense the scent; the fewer, the more subtle. However, a maximum number of sticks is necessary to prevent the fragrance from evaporating directly into the air.
6/ Refill the container with the refill once the bottle is empty.
